Sometimes we might all wish we could make some things disappear, but afterwards on reflection, it is these seemingly negative experiences that can add to our character. We can't just 'wipe out,' or get rid of what we want to forget, but what we can do is change our perspective about how we manage our feelings about these, and let go of attachment to them.
I have found this is a practice that gets easier with meditation. Take time to ask 'what do I need to know today?' Maybe then you will find that everything we encounter is character building, making us more tolerant and understanding. Every day is a new day... so just for today BE HAPPY!
